Courtyard Solicitors LLP’s Litigation Department is headed by Sam Vitty. The Litigation Department has extensive knowledge and experience in all areas of litigation and we are able to offer a fast and comprehensive service that is tailored to the needs of our client’s and their individual requirements.
We aim to provide you with targeted and practical advice that combines clear, thorough and in-depth analysis of each individual case with a sound understanding of problems and objectives. We appreciate that any legal matters can have a negative impact and provide an unwelcome distraction, as a result we always look to resolve any disputes quickly, efficiently and in a cost effective manner to minimise the impact of the dispute on the day to day running of your business or your personal life.
Where possible we try to settle disputes without the need for legal proceedings. Where this proves not to be possible, our department has the experience and tenacity to pursue your interests and aims.
It doesn’t matter what stage your matter may be at, we can provide advice to current or potential claimants or defendants and, if proceedings have not already been issued, we will endeavour to help you settle the dispute without the necessity of issuing proceedings.
We will advise you on both the law and procedure for dealing with the claim including where necessary, obtaining expert advice from Counsel. Our firm have a good working relationship with a number of Chambers in London and can readily instruct specialist Barristers who can provide expert advice in many different areas of law and if needs be, represent you in Court.
Our firm also deals with other areas of law including company formation, residential and commercial conveyancing, wills and probate and matrimonial law. We are able, when the need arises, to refer you to one of these other specialist departments so that all of your matters can be dealt with in one place and make use of the resources that we have at our disposal.
