What is the Conveyancing Quality Scheme?

September 2020

The Law Society's Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) provides a recognised quality standard for residential conveyancing practices. Membership establishes a level of credibility for firms with stakeholders such as regulators, lenders and insurers as well as residential homebuyers and sellers.

Since its inception in 2011, the CQS has created a trusted community which has helped year on year to deter fraud and continually improve standards across the residential conveyancing sector.

Courtyard Solicitors are proud to be accredited by the Conveyancing Quality Scheme.

Our membership provides assurance to residential homebuyers and sellers, as well as lenders and insurers that we comply with the Conveyancing Quality Scheme protocol and, where necessary, amend existing policies or draft new ones to meet the requirements.

Not only are Courtyard Solicitors members of the Conveyancing Quality Scheme, but we also offer fixed fees for residential conveyancing, which provides our clients with good value and peace of mind over the cost of buying and selling their property.

If you are thinking of buying or selling a property please email us and ask us for a free quotation.
